Peeler is the latest and greatest app for philatelists everywhere. For the this project, the brief was to create and app that has to deal with collecting and things of that nature. I chose philately as my subject mainly because why not? It’s a hobby that very much intrigues me and I felt it would be a nice challenge to create an app for very specific needs. Another aspect was prototyping a single-page website for the app that users would go to and it would have promo images and show users how the app works in a nutshell. I was also watching a lot of the TV show ‘Psych’ and one of the main characters is a philatelist, so it worked as a sort of loose inspiration.
